about the job
As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding and maintaining our cutting-edge infrastructure at US AI. We’re looking for a self-motivated professional with a strong customer service mindset and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team supporting mission-critical systems.
What you’ll do
- Provide network, computer and application support to company employees and customers
- Setup and reimage desktops and laptops
- Support the infrastructure team to maintain internal network and computer infrastructure
- Provide computer and application training and guidance to end users on hardware or software use as needed
- Monitor infrastructure performance metrics to assist proactive approach to infrastructure maintenance
- Deploy operating system patches and application updates to computers and servers
- Collaborate with other engineers, analysts, data scientists, developers, and stakeholders, taking learning and leadership opportunities that will arise every single day
- Create clear and through documentation for new systems, processes, and procedures
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a Related Discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2 years helpdesk experience troubleshooting with end users in person or over the phone
- Ability to acclimate to technical innovation and IT trends in the workplace
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Required Skills / Certifications
- In depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks, including Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS, iOS, and Linux
- Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills, including experience with diagnosing network issues, configuring firewalls, and managing connectivity problems.
- Knowledge of security best practices and endpoint protection, such as antivirus software, to ensure compliance with organizational security policies
Preferred Skills / Certifications
- CompTIA A+ and Network+
Security clearance
- You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) – US Citizenship required
COMPENSATION
- $55,000-$125,000 per year based on skills, experience
